Santo Domingo, R.D.- The "Alejandro E. Grullón E." Sustainability Chair of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), and the Popular Foundation, organized a training discussion on the theme "The code of ethics: a compass for business management", delivered by Professor Martha Rodríguez, from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UVP), guest speaker.

In her dissertation, Rodríguez highlighted that the code of ethics is the guide, it is the corporate conscience or personality, the identity of the organization made up of values, conducts and behaviors, commitments, compliance, committee and line.

The teacher shared keys by way of concepts and advantages to be used in public-private organizations. Among the keys are guidance, corporate awareness, identity, diversity and participation.

During the dialogue that took place within the framework of the Master's Degree in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability, double degree with the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) Spain, the director of the Chair, Angye Rincón, was the moderator of the dialogue and highlighted that these spaces are important for the work of the public-private sector and academia, because they contribute to the discussion of relevant issues with the purpose of promoting research, socialization and academic training in the area.

The activity took place on Thursday, September 23, was transmitted through a virtual platform, and included the participation of Mr. Elías Dinzel, general manager of the Popular Foundation, who was in charge of the closing words and thanks.
