The Chair of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability "Alejandro E. The objective of this course was to create capacities to identify the impacts, risks and opportunities of business in social, environmental and economic aspects and how to evaluate and manage them by integrating them into business models and strategies. Its importance lies in raising awareness that, through their activities, products, services, and relationships, organizations have an impact on the economy, the environment, and society; Impacts that represent the organization's contributions, both positive and negative, towards the objective of sustainable development.
The facilitator of this workshop course was Marcela Romero Merino, general director of BSD Consulting Colombia, an Elevate Company, who has 15 years of experience in the design and implementation of sustainability strategies, sustainable innovation for business models and sustainable value chains.
Sixteen directors and executives from prestigious companies in the northern zone were trained to work from within their institutions, assuming their key role for the long-term well-being of their organizations and for everyone.
