Santo Domingo. – The Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) hosted the ordinary general assembly of the Ibero-American Postgraduate University Association (AUIP) held this week, within the framework of the V International Meeting of Universia Rectors. In this assembly, the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) was represented by the rector, Secilio Espinal.
In this assembly, Father Secilio Espinal shared knowledge and experience with José E. Capilla, rector of the UPV, and also with Gabriel García, director of the UPV Master of Permanent Training in Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability, a program that is also carried out at PUCMM, with a double degree. In this meeting, the possibility of continuing to expand the collaboration between both universities was discussed, to continue strengthening ties.
Since 2015, the PUCMM and the Popular Foundation, through the Chair of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability "Alejandro E. Grullón E.", offer the first Master's Program in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability to provide the productive apparatus with the Dominican Republic, both in its public and private dimension, of the necessary knowledge and tools to integrate sustainable and socially responsible models of action, which guarantee a balanced development of the country.
This master's degree is carried out with the objective of analyzing the concepts and multiple dimensions of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability, emphasizing its design and application of management and evaluation tools, to integrate it at the different levels of a company or organization.
